Man of the week for July 27th, 2012
Our man of the week for July 27th is none other than Christian Bale! Bale, who plays the hero, Batman, in “The Dark Knight Rises,” visited victims of a massacre that occurred at a screening of the film in Aurora, Colo., allegedly by a man who fashioned himself as Batman’s comic book arch-enemy, the Joker. Bale spent about two-and-a-half hours at the Medical Center of Aurora, Bill Voloch, the interim president of the facility, told the Denver Post, adding that he met with five people being treated there and two others brought in from another hospital. Over the weekend, Bale released a statement regarding the massacre, saying “Words cannot express the horror that I feel. I cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones, but my heart goes out to them.” Great job Christian Bale. A hero on the big screen and a great guy off it.

The man, the myth, the legend! Our man of the week for July 20th, 2012 is WWE Owner Vince McMahon. RAW had episode number 999 on Monday and this Monday will have their 1000th episode. It will be a LANDMARK event in television history. Vince also is hopeful of launching his own WWE TV Network in the fall. Love him or hate him, you cannot help but respect him. Vince took over the WWE in 1982, and took it from a small, regional company to a national powerhouse. He created WrestleMania and, of course, RAW. Vince McMahon is an icon in the sports entertainment business, and is our man of the week! Congrats Vince on 1000 RAW episodes.

Our first man of the week on our website is Marianas Trench lead singer, Josh Ramsay. Recently, Josh and the band came out with a brand new video for their song, "Desperate Measures". Ramsay and Marianas Trench are slowly taking the music world by storm, and are getting more popular each day. Josh and the band recently performed in NYC, and sold out. It was a great accomplishment. Josh is also a songwriter and producer for the popular "Call Me Maybe" song by Carly Rae Jepsen. Josh is an incredible musician and entertainer, and we are proud to have him as our first man of the week.
